Company Overview

Since 1979 Sherex has been proud to call Buffalo home.  Over the past several years Sherex has experienced tremendous growth and is pleased to expand our operations in the greater Buffalo area.

Sherex Products

We are the proven leader for sealing fluid power passages.  Today there are over 2 billion Koenig Expander Plugs in use.  They are installed by virtually every major automotive and fluid power manufacturer. 

Sherex also manufactures a complete line of American and European style blind rivet nuts and threaded inserts to our high quality standards.  Sherex rivet nuts are easily installed with our complete line of installation tools.

Buffalo, NY - March 28,2006 - Best Places to Work in WNY
Business First is out with its annual list of the Best Places to Work in WNY.  Business First teamed up with Quantum Market Research to complete the list, which is based on employees feedback.  57 area companies made it through the process and earned enough points from employees to be named as the Best Places to Work in WNY.

The companies were divided into six categories, based on size.  The company with the highest score for the "micro" category, with fewer than 10 employees, is Performance Management Partners Inc. of Williamsville.

For small companies with 10-20 employees, Robitaille Relocation & Real Estate, of Williamsville came out on top, for the second year in a row.

In the medium category, with 21-50 employees, Sherex Industries of Lancaster is first.

For large employers, with 51-100 workers, the law firm Rupp, Baase Phalzgraf, Cunningham & Coppola LLC, which is based in Buffalo is number one.

For the extra large category, with 101-400 employees, DiVal Safety Equipment of Buffalo came in first, after capturing the title last year as well.

And in the "jumbo" category, with more than 401 employees, West Herr Auto Group was named the best place to work for the second year in a row.
