Blind Rivet Nuts

Blind rivet nuts are necessary when very thin material is used and not all sides are accessible.  Blind rivet nuts are also ideal when easy assembly and disassembly is needed.  These rivet nuts should be used with Grade 5 or Class 8.8 hardware and may be installed into multiple sheets of thin material such as aluminum, steel, plastic and fiberglass.  Once these rivet nuts are installed, additional components with threaded fasteners may be incorporated.  Contact us to learn more about the rivets, inserts for plastic and O-ring plugs that we proudly offer.

Nutsert

A nutsert is often referred to as a blind rivet nut.  These components are used by industries such as automotive, furniture, military, aerospace, truck and trailer and heating, ventilation and air conditioning.  These rivets are available in a variety of materials such as aluminum, steel and stainless steel.  Sherex offers nutserts in a variety of series, all available for comparison through our product catalog.

Metric Rivet Nuts

Metric rivet nuts are designed to fit metric sized holes when material is particularly thin or inaccessible from the backside.  Like our blind rivet nuts, metric rivet nuts are made from quality metals and are appropriate when easy assembly and disassembly are required.  Once installed, additional components with thread fasteners may be attached.  Metric rivet nuts are also able to be installed through multiple sheets of thin materials like aluminum, fiberglass, steel and plastic.
