Expansion Plugs

Expansion plugs offered by Sherex are used in a wide variety of automotive and industrial applications throughout the world.  Manufactured under the TS16949 standard, Koenig expansion plugs are ideal “zero defect” sealing solutions for many different kinds of hydraulic and pneumatic applications.  Expansion plugs are available in metric and inch sizes, in carbon and stainless steel.  Most expansion plug styles are RoHS compliant, and stock is readily available.

Steel Plugs and Metal Plugs

Koenig expansion metal plugs are available in carbon steel and stainless steel, and permanently seal communication holes.  When installed, the expansion plugs expand and anchor into the base material to create a leak-proof seal capable of holding working pressures of up to 36,250 psi.
